If yes, this post is actually for you, even I myself passed through this situation where my facebook video auto play I thought of muting the videos which I did but later discovered it didn't solved anything, its really painful, so I decided to think of a way to solve this problem of mine and I came up with this article that will guide you on how to disable Facebook video auto play. To do this is very easy it won't take you up to 5 minutes to disable Facebook video auto play on your smartphone.



HOW TO DISABLE FACEBOOK VIDEO AUTO PLAY ON AN ANDROID DEVICE


Step 1: Open your Facebook app

Step 2: Tap on the utility icon on the right side(I.e the stacked bars)



Step 3: Click on App Settings



Step 4: Click on Auto play

Step 5: Wait until you see a pop up on your screen

Step 6: Turn Auto play off by selecting Never auto play videos.


And we are done with that of any Android device.





HOW TO DISABLE FACEBOOK VIDEO AUTO PLAY ON AN iOS DEVICE

For those using an iOS device specifically an iPhone this one is for you, just follow the steps carefully.....



Step 1: Open settings from the home screen if your iPhone or iPad

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Facebook

Step 3: Tap on settings



Step 4: Under settings, turn on the option for Auto play only on WiFi



And with that you're done with it....
